Fulton Market Consulting provides customized consulting services for each client.

Clients interested in our services are, but not limited to catering companies, floral & design firms, hospitality tech companies, equipment & linen rental companies, hotels, restaurants, special event venues, museums and cultural institutions. We are based in downtown Chicago but are willing to travel domestically and internationally to work with willing and collaborative client partners.

#1 Annual Contracted Retainer

A monthly eight-hour retainer relationship to provide consistent and available training opportunities to executive and sales team management. Fulton Market Consulting will be your available resource for executive and sales leaders, a coach, mentor, and “influencer” with over 29 years of sales planning, event production, and sales management experience. This engagement is similar to “fractional” management, allowing a stronger and more consistent connection between all players.

The key objective is to prepare each executive to lead strategically by sharing a library of tools, processes and tips for managing opportunities, situations and challenges with a proactive and effective approach.

Existing clients have resulted in increased annual revenue due to holding each team accountable through effective systems and processes. Teams have been inspired to develop additional business opportunities by thinking differently. Fulton Market Consulting will provide recommended guidelines, templates, supporting documentation, and presentation decks. 

Additional Notes

We recommend one onsite two-day session per year. This can be used by pulling 16 hours from the “budget” or billed separately. Additional travel expenses, including airfare, car rental, and hotel, are not included in the prices above. As for retainer hours, the client can roll unused hours from one month to another to use, if necessary, for more in-person time.  All programs can be discussed for further customization, and references are available upon request.

#2 Sales & Management Discovery Session

A two-day and two-night discovery session for Fulton Market Consulting to assess your organization from a sales, culture and management standpoint. Following the session, you will receive a strategic brief of findings including what is working, where improvements can be made, team motivations and overall recommendations for growth and change.

The key objective of the workshop is for Fulton Market Consulting to kickstart desired change at your organization through honest and open communication. This discovery session is only valuable if leadership is willing to accept feedback for growth.

Return on Investment

A written strategic road map will be delivered within five business days of the audit. This includes a time line assigning individual and team responsibilities and tasks to encourage future opportunities, growth and change.

Additional Notes

Occasionally, a third day is needed for workshop programs based on the number of interviewees. If needed or requested, please consider a third day. Additional travel expenses including airfare, car rental and hotel are not included in prices above.

#3 Director of Sales Leadership & Management School

A four-day individualized training session for your sales leader.  At the completion of this training, the Director of Sales (DOS) will essentially develop their own training manual and resource guide based on their job description.  This training also puts a large emphasis on effective communication practices for the DOS with both sales team members as well as executive management and ownership.  

Return on Investment

Your DOS will present the week’s learnings to CEO/Owner/GM including a written annual strategic plan including calendar deadlines.  DOS will also make recommendations for future communication methods and establish structured meetings for effective management.

#4 In-Office Team Training

Fulton Market Consulting can develop customized full or half-day in-office team training based on various or existing topics (refer to Fulton Market Consulting Speaking Engagements). A typical class is 45 minutes with a 15 minute follow-up question and answer session.

The key objective of the workshop is for Fulton Market Consulting to provide hands-on training for your team in the comfort of your office. This allows for an unlimited number of attendees and encourages collaborative engagement from all departments.

#5 Coaching Calls

Advance blocks of time can be booked for scheduled sales and management coaching phone calls.  Please review Package #1 for examples of monthly retainer work.

The key objective is for your Managers/Leaders/Director of Sales to prepare agenda items in advance to make best use of the call time.  We will work strategically and address all opportunities and challenges that occur on a monthly basis.
